Camp Agape NW provides an all-expense-paid weeklong overnight camp for the whole family of a child with cancer. Camp Agape NW gives children with cancer a chance to feel normal, siblings a chance to feel special, and parents a time to be together.
Camp Agape NW is provided free of charge for the child with cancer, the parents or legal guardians, and all siblings, through fundraising by the Philoptochos and through generous donations. Campers and siblings range in ages from infancy up to 18 years.
Activities and Events
Fun activities like arts and crafts, singing, skits, games, fishing and boating and access to a private salt water beach happen throughout the week. One on One, each child is assigned their very own buddy for the week; children with cancer and their brothers and sisters.
